Roz McCall MSP has celebrated the success of a number of Scottish businesses for receiving awards for export success, including one in Fife.
This follows four Scottish businesses being recognised in the inaugural made in the UK, sold to the World awards, with Xelect, St. Andrews, winning highly commended in the Agriculture, Food and Drink Category.
Ms McCall has today, lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament, paying tribute to these fantastic exporters, the well-paying jobs they have created and the contribution they make to the economy. Roz McCall MSP also highlighted the benefits that Scotland reaps from being a part of the United Kingdom.
Roz McCall MSP is also delighted to hear that Xelect, a specialist agritech company, and one of only a small number of businesses worldwide that can provide advanced genetic management services for the aquaculture industry, has been recognised for their hard work and commitment to their industry.
