Roz McCall MSP visited Kingsgate shopping centre to meet with Neil Mackie and Kenny Arnott. In this meeting Ms McCall had the opportunity to listen to the views of Neil and Kenny in relation to a wide range of subjects including high street regeneration, the importance of Kingsgate shopping centre to the wider Dunfermline area and the threat of online shopping to the high street.
One topic of discussion was the lack of support from the Scottish Government for high streets and local shopping centres.
The meeting ended with a summary of issues and action points pertaining to the local area, Ms McCall with continue to engage with Neil and Kenny and other local business experts to ensure the success of Dunfermline’s high street and the local economy.
