Roz McCall MSP has put forward a member's business motion in the Parliament to support ‘Scotland’s Forgotten Children’. In Scotland, both foster and adopted children are too often left behind.
The Minister for Children and Young People has promised foster carers a National Minimum Allowance, but once again today, refused to give a timeframe or even any indication of when this will be delivered.
Roz also called on the Scottish Government to recognise that those children who have been fostered need the same support as other care-experienced children.
The Scottish Government and all MSPs have a duty to support Scotland’s Forgotten Children.
